Ditching the padlock
bruised heart in captivity
poised to sing and soar

Communing with stars
ten digits facing the sky
breathing redemption

Step by step in beat
joyous tango with the sun
foretelling grace; pace

Zebra Crossing

 

   
     Can we all afford
extra rights of way to walk
        our prejudices

     What if we were born,
Black and White tattooed forehead -
     'Hate has no place here.'
